I am a highly energetic personal trainer that will not shy away from a challenge. I studied Certificate III and IV in Fitness at the Central Institute of Technology (Perth campus), where I worked with numerous age groups from young adolescents to elderly citizens. I have also worked with disabled clients and have experience in group training.
As a Personal Trainer I want to help people achieve their goals while having fun and not only seeing me as their “trainer”, but also their friend.
I love to challenge myself; I started playing basketball in 2007 when I was fifteen years old. I was terrible! I told myself I wanted to be the best player on my team by the time I finished high school. So I continued to practice every day, learnt certain techniques from different people, watched training videos and of course continued to play competitively to test my skills when I needed them most. The next year in 2008 I was awarded the teams “Most Improved Player” award, which to me was a big step in the right direction. Then in 2009, my last year of high school, I was awarded the teams “Most Valuable Player” or “MVP” award. This was a huge achievement. To set a goal and reach it by the time you set for it, is a magical feeling.
That’s the kind of achievement I want my clients to feel when they reach their goals, if I can see what I felt back then replicated in someone else, it gives me the drive to do more still. Just helping someone to feel great about themselves is why I became a Personal Trainer.
